Jesus doesn’t just meet us once – he keeps changing us. Following him is a lifelong process of renewal, as his Word and Spirit reshape every part of our lives. There are no experts here, just people growing together, learning to be honest, to take steps of faith, and to live out what God is doing in us every day of the week.

Imagine a sail without wind, a land without rain, a fireplace without fire. We were made to be filled with the tangible presence of God. We long to be a church alive by the Spirit’s breath, awash in the Spirit’s water, and ablaze in the Spirit’s flames. So, we’re a people marked by hunger for God, expectancy in prayer, and openness to his transforming power.

In a world filled with a thousand competing voices, we choose to anchor our lives in the voice of God revealed in Scripture. The Bible is not a distant or outdated text for us, but the living Story of God that determines what we believe and how we live.

While we gather on a beautiful piece of land, we believe the church is most alive in homes and everyday relationships. This is where we stop performing and start belonging – where we are known, supported, and formed together in Christ. We are committed to building a church that feels like family, where no one walks alone.

Jesus gave his life so others may live – and that impacts everything about us. Nova exists not just for its existing members, but for those still to join. We go into our communities, workplaces, schools, and friendships carrying the love, truth and hope of Jesus. When we gather, we expect lives to be changed. And when we scatter, we hope God’s good news does too. 

Our heart is that every person – no matter their age – feels seen and deeply loved. At the same time, a spiritual battle rages fiercely for the young, so we’re especially focused on reaching and raising kids and teens to know his voice, experience his presence, and live with bold faith (all while having the time of their lives).

There are no spectators at Nova, only participants in the life and work of the body. Every spiritual gift matters, every act of service and generosity builds, and every voice has a place. As we each do our part, the whole church grows strong, healthy, and fully alive in Christ.
